Today was a beautiful day in olympia. Sunny for once!
I had morning classes, lunch with my professor - we had a great talk!, and then I went to my friend katie's house, where we cooked a huge dinner for the homeless camp. We made great soup, and took it over - they seemed to really appreciate it. It was a great afternoon cooking, Katie's house has a big yard, adn they have apple trees and a press, so we also made apple cider, it was very fun.

how great you're getting out to enjoy the beautiful fall. feeding the homeless must feel rewarding. looking forward to your photo journal of them. when i was in college we frequented a funky old bar, downtown missoula that had an incredible collection of black and white 8x10 portraits of elderly locals. close ups of their faces surrounded the entire bar. some of them still frequented the place and their drinks were always bought by the other custumers. it really gave the place character and became a famous collection.
